Supporting Social Welfare Organizations
Formosa Laboratories hosts charity bazaars, group purchases, and donation events each year to raise funds for social welfare programs. We encourage all employees to actively join and support these efforts, turning their commitment into real actions for the public good.
The summary of past activities is as follows:
- In 2017, a charity sponsorship activity for nutritious lunch in Shan-Jiao Junior High School.
- In 2017, donated NT$100,000 to the establishment funds of the Taipei Medical University.
- In 2017, the Bio Taiwan tote bag charity sale event raised a total of NT$5,250 in donations for the Sunshine Social Welfare Foundation.
- In 2020, the Christmas charity sale raised a donation of NT$8,122 for the Hondao Senior Citizen's Welfare Foundation.
- In 2020, organized a block booking movie activities for colleagues to see "Listen before you sing" and support domestic films. We also collected contributions from colleagues to donate to Vox Nativa Taiwan.
- In 2021, the revenue from the egg cake charity sale was 5,522 yuan, which was donated to the Taiwan Original Sound Education Association.
- In 2021, the Warm Winter Charity Sale event raised a total of 15,602 yuan in donations for the Hondao Senior Citizen's Welfare Foundation.
- In 2022, collaborated with local small farm to sponsor community elementary school anniversary celebration.
- In 2022, collaborated with the Taiwan Foundation for the Blind to design custom gift boxes for the year-end banquet event.

Calling for Blood Donations to Help People in Need
Donating blood is not only a kind act of showing love, helping each other, and saving lives, but also an important way for many people to extend their lifespan.
Regular blood donation can boost metabolism, promote smoother blood flow, and benefit others. Therefore, it is an act that promotes health and creates a win-win situation.
With our long-standing commitment to the belief that "donating a bag of blood helps save a life," we at Formosa Laboratories organize two blood donation drives each year, encouraging our employees to donate blood and share love in the spirit of mutual help.
We urge our employees to roll up their sleeves and donate blood, aiming to meet medical demand and prepare for critical moments while injecting positive energy into society.
