Formosa Laboratories, Inc., conveniently located in suburban Taipei, produces APIs and UV filters under cGMP in its modern facilities, which have been inspected by DOH of Taiwan, US FDA, BSG of Germany, and PMDA of Japan. Formosa API products include Vitamin D analogs (Calcitriol, Calcipotriol, Paricalcitol, etc), Steroids (e.g. Levonorgestrel), Anti-cancers (Lapatinib, Temozolomide, etc), Benzonatate, Colesevelam, Mycophenolate Na, Orlistat, etc. Formosa has strong R&D capability and experience, with 45 chemists dedicated to process development and analytical method development. Custom synthesis service has been offered under strict confidentiality from lab scale to commercial production, with full documentation support (with 26 US DMFs, 4 COS, 1 JMF, and multiple EU DMFs filed). Production equipment of either SS or GL ranges from 50 L to 8,000 L in size.
